Some time in the last 2 weeks, the sister and I attended a bloggers’ meet organized by Wella Kolestint.
Dress – Promod at G 7 Mall, Versova | Ring – Spyra at Bliss, Versova | Shoes – New Look, Croydon, UK
I probably thought it was cute to wear a range of colours on my dress. Red, purple and brown, by the way are hair colours that suit Indian skin. So, I wasn’t off the mark. 🙂 These shoes always get me noticed. I like to think of them as my ‘Devil Wears Prada‘ but goes sailing shoes!
I’m seeing everyone wear these ruched sleeves right now. I think they’re going to stay awhile.
So, following in the footsteps of Dimple Kapadia and Jacqueline Fernandes is Bipasha Basu. She is the new ambassador for Wella Kolestint and we were the first to know of it. 🙂 You like?
It was a Saturday afternoon and at least a dozen fashion and beauty bloggers had made their way to Bungalow 9. We got to meet Arpan of Fat Mu, Kavya of Streak Hue Fall, Kiran of thirtysixandcounting, Masoom of Style Fiesta and Shamita who was covering for MissMalini among others. Having gone through a round of introductions and munched on some delectables offered by Bungalow 9, we were ready to be educated. The sweet Ragini Hariharan, a brand representative shared with us her own experience. Apparently, she got married after she scored the job at P & G. She tried the Wella hair colour and her husband noticed the difference. Men, I tell you! The very bubbly Natasha Naegamvala, also hair expert, followed. She told us about the trip she made to Germany to the Wella labs and how she came to trusting the brand only after she had seen everything with her own eyes. So, here’s the deal. Wella is originally a German brand. Wella Kolestint has been designed especially for the Indian consumer. It is for darker hair. And it basically has a range of shades that suits the Indian skin tone. We engaged in a bunch of activities where we looked at the shade chart, the product, interacted with Natasha and even participated in a quiz. At the end, I was armed with a Light Golden Brown colour packet for my hair and Medium Mahogany Brown colour for the sister’s hair. The unique thing about this product, though, is that it’s a DIY. You will find it at a retail store near you and you can apply the colour at home. Are you ready to take notice and get noticed? I’m going to try it and share my experience in a blog of another colour. 😉 Until then, check out Wella Kolestint’s comprehensive website and join the facebook group for fun.
